Gambia

Descripción

Gambia

The tiny country of Gambia is located on the West African Atlantic coast, and surrounded on all other sides by its neighbour Senegal. Main defining feature is Gambia River. The terrain is mostly flat with only some low hills.

Although Gambia is popular as a beach destination, there are a number of national parks and nature reserves with guided walking possibilities, such as Kiang West National Park along the river Gambia and some of its tributaries, and Abuko Nature Reserve which has a nature trail.
